POLITICIANS, businessmen, and prominent personalities from the entertainment world graced the arrival and blessing of former Ilocos Sur Governor and businessman Luis “Chavit” Singson ‘s new Boeing 737 airplane at NAIA last Saturday September 26.
The new aircraft, to be operated by Platinum Skies Aviation, will be used for chartered domestic and regional flights, particularly the Manila-Vigan-Manila and Manila-Korea-Manila routes. The plane arrived at NAIA from the US after three stopovers and refueling in the Pacific.
Singson was joined by Sarangani Congressman Manny Pacquiao for the blessing and champagne pop and photo-ops with other guests before the world boxing champ quickly boarded his chopper for another engagement at the Iglesia Ni Cristo event at the Philippine Arena at Ciudad Victoria in Bulacan.
Sighted at the event were Tonyboy Cojuangco and Gretchen Barretto, Pops Fernandez, Vina Morales, Becky Garcia and George Sarakinis, Miss Global Philippines officials led by Rizza and Pauline Laping, Miss Global 2015 2nd runner-up Catherine Almirante, Miss Global Philippines 2015 Tourism Ambassador Henna Santos, Miss World national director Cory Quirino and the Miss World Philippines 2015 contestants.
