MANILA, Philippines – On Sunday, March 18, former Miss World Philippines 2016, Catriona Gray bested 39 other lovely candidates and was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.Aside from being one of the strongest contender from the beginning and a fan favorite she also bagged the Pitoy Moreno Best in National Costume Award ,Jag Jeans , Best in Long Gown and best in swimsuit awards.
40 candidates showcased their beauty, grace and intelligence during the big night. From 40 down to 25 and the selection of top 15 who finally faced the nerve wrecking Q and A portion which determined who among these girls are worthy to be crowned for the 6 most coveted titles at stake including Binibining Pilipinas Universe who will represent our country in the most prestigious Miss Universe 2018 pageant.
